Join Us in Empowering the Future: Technology Fundraiser for Our School!
On behalf of the parent run Fundraising Committee here at Roots Nature & Leadership Academy, we are thrilled to launch our Technology Fundraiser to help our students reach new heights in learning! With your support, we can bring essential technology resources like Chromebooks, digital whiteboards, and a smart TV into the new classrooms in Heartwood Hall, opening up a world of possibilities for our young learners.
Here’s what your generosity will help us achieve:
- Chromebooks (15 total) – These user-friendly laptops will empower our students to conduct research, learn typing skills, and build essential digital literacy. They’ll be able to work with spreadsheets, create dynamic presentations, dive into movie-making and podcasting, explore graphic design, and so much more! Cost: $349.99 each.
- Digital Whiteboards (2 total) – Our new interactive BenQ whiteboards will be an incredible asset, allowing classes to connect with experts for interviews as part of their EL Education projects, explore digital learning resources, and engage in group activities. These boards bring lessons to life and make collaborative learning more engaging and interactive! Cost: $2,479 each.
- Smart TV (1 total) – With a high-quality 55” screen, our new smart TV will enable students to watch documentaries and digital resources aligned with our EL Education goals and Special Skills classes. Imagine students gathered to watch a documentary that complements their study of literacy, math, history, science, or the arts, sparking curiosity and a passion for discovery. Cost: $1,199.99.
Your donation will help us secure these resources and enhance the hands-on, tech-powered learning experience we’re building for our students, especially in our older grades. Plus, donations qualify for a tax receipt, making it easy to contribute to our school’s future while receiving tax benefits.
